5. The Muppet Show (1976-1981)

I love The Muppet Show because The Muppet Show is a highest rating TV show. The Muppet Show was made and in United States and Great Britian. Surprisingly, it spurred the international superstardom of the show’s charming host Kermit the Frog, and his love interest, Miss Piggy the arrogant and a bossy sow. Of course it also gave us a wealth of other lovable characters. These included Fozzie Bear, the Swedish Chef, Gonzo The Whatever, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, his assistant Beaker, and the house band Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. People's favorite characters from The Muppets Show are Mrs. Piggy, Animal, Statler and Waldorf. My favorite character from The Muppet Show is Gonzo because Gonzo is SO funny! The Sesame Street muppeteers who did the Muppet Show are Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Richard Hunt and Jerry Nelson. My favorite guest stars of The Muppet Show are Peter Ustinov, Ethel Merman, Sandy Duncan, Madeline Khan, Dom DeLuise, Elton John, Julie Andrews, John Cleese, Jonathan Winters and Brooke Sheilds. The funniest Muppets of The Muppets Show besides Gonzo are Fozzie Bear, the Swedish chef, Animal, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, his assistant Beaker and Sam the Eagle.

4. Tom and Jerry

When I watched Tom and Jerry on TV in the late 1990’s, I loved it! My favorite characters from Tom and Jerry are Tom the bluish gray cat, and Jerry the brown mouse because Tom and Jerry are cute and funny. Tom and Jerry is the icon of cartoon violence. Tom and Jerry was created by William Hanna and Joe Barbera. Tom and Jerry is the icon of cartoons. Until the 1950’s came because TV is starting to get popular and everybody’s getting one. My favorite Tom and Jerry cartoons are Puss Gets the Boot (1940), The Yankee Doodle Mouse (1943), Mouse Trouble (1944), The Cat Concerto (1947), Salt Water Tabby (1947), The Two Mousketeers (1952), and Johann Mouse (1953). In 1993, it came Tom and Jerry the Movie. Tom and Jerry the Movie was a box office bomb and the critics gave negative reviews. Tom and Jerry is on Cartoon Network a lot. I think people preferred Tom and Jerry than Looney Tunes because Tom and Jerry is the icon of cartoons that is on TV.

3. The Simpsons

I love The Simpsons because The Simpsons premiered on TV in 1989, the same year where I was born, and The Simpsons have yellow skin and yellow is my favorite color. My favorite characters from The Simpsons are Bart Simpson and Homer Simpson because Bart Simpson and Homer Simpson are SO funny. When I was a preteen, I watched The Simpsons, but my grandmother wouldn’t allow me to watched The Simpsons. The Simpsons was created by Matt Groening. The comedians of The Simpsons are Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer and of course, late Phil Hartman. Interestingly, its main characters were all directly named after Groening’s own family, with the exception of himself played by Bart, an anagram for the word “brat.” These characters include Homer, a childish father who gives bad advice and works at the Nuclear Power Plant and he’s strangling Bart all the time, and he loves to drink beer and he loves to eat doughnuts, Marge, a loving and nurturing mother with a blue hair who tries to maintain peace within the family, Hellish 10-year old troublemaker Bart, Lisa, an extremely smart 8-year old, and baby Maggie. The funniest characters of The Simpsons besides Bart Simpson and Homer Simpson are Abraham Simpson, Groundskeeper Willie, Barney Gumble, Krusty the Clown, Carl Carlson, Lenny Leonard, Ned Flanders, Ralph Wiggum, Moe Szyslak, Comic Book Guy, Nelson Mutz, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Seymour Skinner and Chief Wiggum. In 1999, Family Guy, the rival of The Simpsons was born. In 2000, the Simpsons were awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2007, 20th Century Fox released The Simpsons feature film, The Simpsons Movie. The guest stars of The Simpsons are Albert Brooks, Kelsey Grammer, James Earl Jones, Danny DeVito, Dustin Hoffman, Elizabeth Taylor, Bette Midler, Kathleen Turner, Meryl Streep, John Ratzenberger, Mel Brooks, Mickey Rooney, John Goodman, Ray Ramano, Bob Newhart, and so much more! I preferred The Simpsons than Beavis and Butt-head, Family Guy and South Park because Beavis and Butt-head has bathroom language, Family Guy is more crude than The Simpsons and South Park has too much bad language. On the fall of 2011, I went to 20th Century Fox in L.A. and I met Matt Groening and Nancy Cartwright. The Simpsons is longest running cartoon TV show ever made. The Simpsons is the greatest and a popular cartoon TV shows in the 1990’s of all time. Today, The Simpsons is a greatest cartoon TV show of all time. The Simpsons is my favorite cartoon for grown ups of all time and also, The Simpsons is my favorite cartoon TV shows in the 1990’s of all time.

1. Sesame Street

When I watched Sesame Street when I was a child in the 1990’s, I loved it! Sesame Street teach kids ABCs, 123s and more. Sesame Street had first aired in 1969. My favorite characters from Sesame Street are Elmo, Grover, Bert and Ernie. The funniest character of Sesame Street is Cookie Monster because Cookie Monster eats anything and including cookies! In 1985, it came a Sesame Street feature film, Sesame Street presents: Follow That Bird. Unfortunately, Sesame Street presents: Follow That Bird (1985) was the final Muppet feature film that was touched by Jim Henson. In 1999, it came The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. Sadly, The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland (1999) was a box office bomb. When I was 13 years old, I tried to love Sesame Street, but my mommy would not allow it. When I went to high school, there is no Sesame Street stuff! In 2009, I finally returned to love Sesame Street because Sesame Street is for small children is a opinion. Sesame Street is longest running children’s TV show ever made. Sesame Street is a popular TV show of all time. Sesame Street is my favorite educational TV shows all time.

Nice! Have you heard Oggy and the Cockroaches? It's a French cartoon which is similar to Tom and Jerry cartoons in classic Disney animation. Like this :iconoggyplz:
